The main actor is Scott Ryan. He both wrote and starred in the movie "The Magician" and this show mr inbetween. The magician is a movie in the same universe with same premise, but they retconned the story or something like that ( I havent seen the movie yet so idk ) As far as i can tell these 2 are the only pieces of film he is in. And its kinda funny and impressive he both wrote them, starred in them and even directed the movie. After you finish the show maybe you could react to the movie so we can compare and see how it looked 20 years ago. (2005) Movie has 6.6 on imdb while show is at 8.7 so i guess movie wasnt as good but still probably worth checking it out :D.
