CHUCK VERSUS THE FINAL EXAM

FOLDER

I'm too emotional, I need to cool down and will talk more about Sarah/Chuck on the next one.

Comments

The writers should have done a better job getting their viewers to understand Sarah's feelings, motivations, because she isn't behaving out of character at all. Sarah is very, very misunderstood this season. I'm not eloquent enough to explain it with my own words, but when it's not spoilery for Eliza anymore, i'll link to a very well written post on the matter.

lack of communication is the way they extend the storyline, so I get your frustration lol It happened with almost every character with Chuck, even his sister.... Sarah's attitude towards Chuck makes no sense at all, kinda reminds me of the eposide with Chuck choose to not ran away with Sarah, it's such a out of character thing, you can clearly tell the writers tried to complicated the plot line so they can stall time but did a bad job, the rest of the season 3 going to get very intense so I hope it will at least make up for you😂

Yes, this episode was amazing. And its hard when you get so invested and youre so emotional. I think I'm just frustrated so its hard to step back and think about things logically. They are both really in a catch 22 situation and it sucks omg. Yeah I know, I wish I had more time to watch it on a weekly basis. I've heard a lot of bad things about this season and tbh I was expecting it to be unwatchable but its pretty good. When it boils down to it, Sarah is human and flawed which is why i love her. So is Chuck.

Great comment, and to piggyback on the 2 weeks between the episodes, it would be great if you could find time to bring it up to once a week after you finish some other show, if its possible ofc @NostalgicGirl :)

Great reaction! I love this episode, actually. "To get your head right, you gotta get your threads right!" I love Big Mike, and him partnering up with Casey was awesome this episode. And isn't it great that Casey as a civilian, in his first episode as one, is the genuine MVP of the next episode? I love how they integrated him into this episode despite not being a spy anymore. "It was a thoughtful felony". "Are you sure you've completed your test? Be careful out there!" Even here, Casey was looking out for Chuck. And in regards to the obstacles they face in their will-they-wont-they... journey..? On rewatches, I actually think the obstacles make perfect sense, but my oh my, was I also frustrated when I watched this show for the first time. Which surely must be the intention by the showrunners, right? And I agree with you. Sarah is being selfish, but she wouldn't be if she didn't love him. She is clearly struggling with the emotions, and she has stated multiple times before that she is terrible with feelings. There are a couple of brilliant pieces written about the role reversal of Chuck and Sarah in S3. Sadly, they come with some spoilers, so I can't share them yet. I can, however, post this reply to a reddit post regarding the red test that Chuck went through this episode, which wont have any spoilers beyond this episode. Read it if you want to. No must, of course. https://i.imgur.com/VdO3vGO.png And one last thing: I don't think it helps you when you have to suffer for 2 weeks between each episode. Nor did it help the people who watched it on a weekly basis. I am so glad I got to watch this show at my own pace when I discovered it.
