Ooh yeah this is a rough episode. You definitely weren't alone in your reaction, especially to the Alleyway scene with the KOS. Personally I really liked how they showed just how lethal and effective he was, despite all the damage done to our heroes. It made him really feel like a boss fight, and feels right out of one of the more bloody/darker manga series.
