I'm really late to this reaction so you may not see this, but the main reason Alison is getting dressed so differently is because they were attempting to hide her weight gain. She was dealing with severe PCOS for a while and she gained a lot of weight as a result, so she said the network had to change her wardrobe which was usually more revealing.
