The “loop thing” you were trying to explain is called a bootstrap paradox. Where something from the future travels back and helps create itself somehow, causing a causal loop. They don’t want to give too much info to Young Katrina because any small change from her could change a lot in the future, same as when Cassie “died.” They have no way of knowing what a change in her plans could do, so they’re trying to limit it so they at least always get to the point they’re currently at. Whitley didn’t behead anyone! That head was pinned to his hands with knives. It was one of the people he left with, no one we know. Deacon and his new friends obviously jumped them and used them to send a scary message inside the facility. Jennifer is crazy and those board members should probably be worried that she’s the majority share holder, but I love how happily unhinged she is.
