Well technically, because the effects of the paradox are effecting the “present” (2044) we have no idea whether this is a difference from the changed timeline. This could have always been what happened. There’s no way to tell now, but Tommy was pretty certain it was meant to be. And about Tommy seeming more “together” than Jennifer, you’ve got to remember that her dad had her committed by making her believe that she had murdered a bunch of people, that she did actually witness being murdered and then he was paying Drs to keep her crazy. So, she’s as well put together as she can be. Lol Wondering over possible different timelines is the fun of time travel shows! Don’t give yourself a headache, just enjoy the current chaos
