Mermaids are the next main race and you can see for yourself how we want everything, even the tiny sprites you see ingame, to do them justice!
Each of the 6 possible body types is different enough to justify a base sprite made for it (who's your favourite? Mine's #3, the orca!), wo we're going all out on them.
After doing some math, mermaids (just the little ones) will have 1000+ different sprites! Can we make it? Sure! Was it really needed? Hell no!
Just like skeletons (with the gravelord) or ghosts (with the famed "buttghosts"), there'll also be a much bigger mermaid, if you're lucky enough to get your hands on a Queen-sized one~ For those too, we're covering every possible look with sprites too!
All this to say: I can't wait for deep waters!
