It doesn’t feel like a conclusion because it isn’t the end of book 1 yet. That comes mid season 2. I mean Amos saw a threat so Amos got rid of the threat. It’s just that simple. And Miller being sicker than Holden is simple physiology. Miller is a Belter while Holden is an Earther. We’ve learnt through the series so far that Belters are now a sub-species of humans from generations living in space.
