There is always a new character introduced either towards the end of the first season of each era or in the second season. 1st Era, it was Sketch (the obsessive girl), 2nd Era it was Thomas, and now here we have Alex. They are always introduced to develope a character further in some way. This case it was Liv, 1st Era it was Anwar and 2nd Era it was Panda. But yeah. I think Alex is a pretty good addition
