And won an OFTA. He really is an amazing actor. Speaking of, have you ever watched This Is Us? From your reaction to the episode, it doesn't seem like you have. But I honestly think you'd love it. Sterling K Brown is one of the main characters in it, and he has (VERY understandably) won so many awards for his role, as have other actors in it and the show as a whole has won them too. It's 6 Seasons and it's probably one of the best shows I have ever watched. If you haven't seen it, you should definitely consider it as a show for when you next have an opening for a new show to react to. There aren't enough reactions to it, and it's a real shame because it's got amazing writing and amazing acting and the characters are great and everything about it is just so perfect. But yeah, this is one of my favourite episodes of the show. It's actually the highest rated episode on IMDB. Which is funny because it's a Bottle Episode, so it had like the lowest budget and the least characters and yet it's just amazing. And you barely even notice that the other characters aren't in it. Like, for me it barely even occurs to me until Charles shows up at the end and it's like "Oh, right. It was just Jake and Holt this entire episode." Plus, I really love that the murderer really was smart. If it weren't for his ego he would've gotten away with it. It was literally right at the end of the interrogation that he broke, a couple more minutes and he would've gotten away with it. Everything they threw at him he was able to work his way around it. And I love the little details like them getting up close to him didn't make him uncomfortable because he is a Dentist and that's part of his job. And Holt getting triggered over him saying Professor's aren't real Doctors because Kevin is a Professor. And yes! That moment where he says the place the body was found you can see it on Jake's face that he's got him. (Except obviously he didn't yet... But still a great moment!!) The moment he gets him is great. The entire monologue with Philip slowly cracking every time Jake said something about luck or miracles or anything that implied it wasn't down to him being smart. Then finally he just breaks and confesses to everything because he can't handle them thinking it was all luck. And Holt's reaction with the Three Oh Damns, the look of pride on Jake's face as he realises it worked, the Lawyer just being so done, and Philip realising he just confessed to everything. Also... I feel so bad for that patient he mentioned... He literally said that he killed this guy with a dental polymer rod thing, melted it down and put it in a patient's mouth... That poor patient has literally got a murder weapon in their mouth... So I recently watched another reaction to this episode and they noticed that in some of the scenes where Jake and Holt aren't in the Interrogation Room, we can see Philip in the background (through the windows) and he'll be dancing or putting his feet up or just doing the most random things that just show he's so unbothered. It's great! I had never noticed it until they pointed it out and this is probably the episode I've watched the most...
