I love how defensive you are of Alex... But one thing needs to be clear, which is very common when we have our favorites, and Mahone is probably one if not my favorite just like you; but him and Lincoln being "on the same boat" or the implication that their situations or "sins" are similar is true only up to a point... Yes, you are right, right now the priority for Lincoln shouldn't be revenge on Alex and yes, said revenge wouldn't fix anything... So lincoln getting "justice" by going after Mahone isn't going to accomplish anything and YES, Alex has suffered consequences for his actions... BUT, and it s a big but that we have to keep in mind; Lincoln and Mahone aren't the same when it comes to the things they have done or the blood on their hands... yes, Mahone did things out of duty at first as a detective (he wasn't being "forced" by the company at the beginning) and then obedience and fear of The Company, and he suffered under them just like Lincoln, but Alex has several bodies under his name, Lincoln doesn't... How many people has Alex killed so far? not to mention the other shit he has done since he was chasing them from the start of season 2, like, not just illegal but also fucked up shit like executing Tweaner... Lincoln closest would be his "attempt" at killing that got him into this mess and there is a big question mark on whether he would've been able to actually do it... So yeah, they've both suffered under The Company and Lincolns vendetta is unhelpful; but he has every right to hate him and not forgive him for shit and they, as people and based on what they have done, are not the same... Alex IS a worse person and the "justice" that others desire that he gets, he probably deserves... he is very cool and entertaining, but it is actually very interesting that out of out group of "criminals" him and Bellik, our 2 former law enforcers, are probably the worse people in that room based on what they have done (obvs Tbag would take #1 easily on that)
