Many years ago, it was actually part of this episode that I caught on TV while channel hopping. I don't usually settle into watching things half way through. I'd never seen or heard of the show before. It was Simon's energy and performance, and the apparent tone that drew me in during the scene when Jane is undergoing 'treatment'. Then feeling like I could watch more one day, I carried on surfing. I later looked for it when shopping for binge worthy boxsets. (Before streaming services were major ting, cuz I's old.) Thinking that the premise of this 'cop show with twist' gimmick sounded intriguing. I brought and marathoned my way through the show, quickly returning to the store for more dvds. The rest is now history!
