Stinky Little Guys

Goblins know they're going to die and are cool with it, they just want to make sure they go out with a bang; kobolds, on the other hand, know that other kobolds are going to die, but are sure that they've got the gumption and genius to make it through this unscathed. You won't see kobolds jumping off buildings to kick a guy in the head, but they will step into their own trap to unstick the trigger.
Also, in case you didn't know, kobolds customarily ride giant weasels. That's a good fact about kobolds, and one that we should take a moment to celebrate.
