Words are really not needed. The hands to the face and lean back into your chair, as you glare and recoil at the car crash news segment unfolding; is all anyone really needs, as 'a reaction'. I adore the warp speed this runs at. I'm constantly reminded of how well this is crafted. In both written word, and effortlessly performed. Because, people don't talk and behave / interact like this. Everyone's like a stand up comedian having the sublime timing to quip right back at that heckler disrupting the flow of a well crafted bit. I marvel at that craft, of a well produced piece of art, doing it's thing. People in the news aren't this smart. Very few people are this timingly smart. Having total command, and the simultaneous breakneck speed of self awareness and obliviousness, that an overcrafted bunch of characters will have. They have been so meticulously bashed out on the metaphorical typewriter, to bring us this particular style of hugely successful American writing. These people are so absurdly entertaining, in absolutely the best way. Although part of that fake Hollywood sense of reality, which might turn off some viewers; as not recognisable or representative. The performances are just so great that I'm drawn in rather than thrown out.
