2024-10-04 17:48:04 +0000 UTCI'm slowly finding it more difficult to appreciate the full purpose of this shows story, for the more novice viewer. The idea of telling an 'inspired by' drama when maybe the pivotal points that might drive the plot where it needs to be, could be their for the more initiated in this arena. However, I'm still with it, so that's gotta count for something. Even when it tilts towards soap opera melodrama rather than a accurate historical depiction. Again, without detailed knowledge, it's hard to workout what's there for setup vs theatrical lace. Still watching week for week, so not hating on it.
