Will Season 2: Part 2 wrap it all up with a pink bow on a black box with a body inside? Or will it have been better off ending two seasons ago?

Some of these people that want to keep playing have more debt than what they’d win if they quit playing now. They’d go to prison or be kidnapped by loan sharks and have their organs taken out. They have nothing to lose

2025-07-15 23:06:40 +0000 UTCWow, I must have been really tired when I started this episode, because when the episode began with English, I didn't realize that somehow my subtitles had been turned off. So when they started speaking Korean, my immediate thought was "Oh right, this is one of those foreign language tracks where Eric has the subtitles and I don't", which has of course never been a thing. I did realize a few minutes later, but not before trying and failing to make sense of things. Like when we see a baby, some Korean is spoken, and Eric says "I like the sound of that", and I tiredly assumed "Oh, obviously, Gramma asked what she's naming the baby, and Mommy said 'Mayor Goldie Wilson'", hence Eric's response. I need a nap. Also, I need to rewatch Back to the Future.

2025-07-07 09:53:19 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly from season 2, I believe quite a few of the players had over 1 billion in debt so they want to keep playing till they can get to a number that pays off their debt full, I think. Plus, if you’ve made it that far you probably think you’ll keep getting lucky and survive somehow because so far you have won every game. When I was in Zach King’s island survival game, I remember feeling similarly. Like, if I made it this far, surely I can keep going. Haha. I didn’t win 😂

2025-07-01 00:22:58 +0000 UTCThis episode had me thinking back on what you were saying in a past track about wanting to see the games versus wanting to see the behind the scenes stuff - I think the reason why I'm fine with seeing even more games this season is because of, like you mention here, the camerawork! The camerawork for this episode's game and last episode's game had such heart-stopping, great execution that it kinda makes up for it being "more of the same" conceptually imo
