Heavy horse for me! Any chance we will get a simple draped horse, whether just the body or full? I'm not sure how closely that fits in the theme, but it would be a fun additional option.

Chain barding totally planned. And as for the stick-on items, would separate shields be good enough? Breastplates don't really fit the style here, but I'll do some reasearch :)

I'm trying to mix them up a little, some pieces from anglo-saxon sets, some from viking. The light tack and saddle for example are anglo-saxon historical :)

For my part, I would love to see fighters of the British peoples who fought against the Viking invaders. The Total War Britannia video game is a great inspiration for this. It would be great to be able to print and set up all these mighty armies!

I would love to see chain barding on a horse also

I meant an extra bit that we print that goes over the current models. So, if its like horse breast plate armour, we print that off and just stick it on to a horse. Or if its a Hero's personal livery/emblem/house or clan sigil that's printed on a rough shield shape, that we can stick that onto the sides of the horse (so on the Gambeson horse it would sit either to the front or behind the legs. Just something we can print separately from the horse is what I meant.

This is looking awesome as usual. Is a there a specific white rider on the roadmap for the future? I may have missed it.

As much as I'd love this, print material is not cloth :( I'll think about what can be done though!

What if the hero horses are just one of the standard horse poses we have now/will be getting in September, but what about if there was an extra drop on bit that can fit around all horse variants to make them stand out more? Like some extra armour to put around the horses neck, or something decorative with the heroes' personal livery on it? It adds more without reducing the usability of the models we currently have.

I was just curious if there were more at-rest guard models coming down the pipe. I can kit-bash one of the earl's guard models by mixing and matching a similar helmeted head from one of the prints I had with a failed leg so I can give them a bit of variety.

If the Hero is separated from the mount, this give more choice not only to them but also to troops too (scout cavalry, light cavalry, heavy cavalry for example :) ).

Makes sense! Uhm, we have those Earl's Guard models from this month, that will work perfect for this, no?

I like heavy armored horses, but why don't make 1 of each type? 1 Heavy, 1 Leather, 1 Simple for more variability. With the other horses, there are a lots of combinations. Also, if you're planning a game, you need different kind of unit and this help whit it.

Personal preference is the gambeson as it fits better for medium cavalry and command figures. Also, would it be possible to have a pair of huscarls to flank the king as he sits on his throne? :-)

Could it be possible to have terrain that's a set of tree stumps that the horses can jump over to surprise their enemies in an attack

I do like Heavy Cavalry myself too!

I personally love the Gambeson wearing horse, but that could just be because I like that look for Heavy Cavalry.
