Roadmap - 2022 - Part 2

I'm proud to present the proposed Roadmap for the second half of 2022!

Regarding the last point - I decided to go with this approach, instead of one big Kickstarter project, as I think this will allow to make higher quality sculpts with better care than crunching more models into one big bundle.

Please let me know what you think about the upcoming months!

Ah, sure! Then it's going to be expanding on the bad guys, with different options like more war trolls, more of those huge elephants, siege weapons, etc. so you can build up an army for a final battle scenario!

Sorry, I didn't mean to ask for an inventory! Just wasn't quite sure what the title meant generally speaking.

Thank you! That's quite precise info you requested πŸ˜… I haven't planned the exact content of releases that far away in time. It will be expansions of the existing model types and new ones that will be useful for wargaming of course!

Looks great! What does the December release actually look like out of curiosity? Is it just the Evil models that haven't been in the story so far but might match releases for a certain game?

Thank you so much!

This looks amazing!

Oooh, thank you! I'm so proud the idea caught on!

The customizers are amazing. Definitely my favorite part

Hah, that's very true πŸ˜„

alright, now i'm hyped, that sounds great! and hey, if this storyline is finished, there are countless tales about the lost land in the west ;-)

You'd win the bet if I were to keep to my preferable art direction strictly πŸ˜„ But the issue with byzantine clothing is that most of the looks there comes from the beautiful silk trims, which would be horrible to print and paint, unless everyone suddenly wanted to freehand. So it will be a mix of byzantine fashion with some XIV medieval. For armors, I'd still go with more european designs, so it's different from what was made for the eastern and southern men factions. Byzantine vs Persian cataphracts would be really hard to discern πŸ˜…

I try to imagine what the Gonthanian soldiers as well as the citizens will look like, my bet is byzantine influenced

Yeah the Ender 5 rocks the terrain handedly, and despite the fact that I can get decent mini quality the supports are just brutal to remove. I'm KelticOwl in the discord =)

I'll make sure it's totally worth it! πŸ˜„

Oh, that's awesome to hear! Those will be really fun chapters I hope 😊

The O in the name suggests a place that already is in ruins at this point in time!

Resin-targeted models, even if large, are now made to fit the Mini 4k/8k build volume :D For terrain, I always recommend and FDM printer due to simple cost efficiency!

I can't wait for Siege of Gond.. I mean, Orthold.

really looking forward to the Forsaken Marshes and the Citizens Of Whitceaster!

Amazing

Looking at the AnyCubic Mono X 6K or the Phrozen Mini 8k. Real question is how much volume do I need/want =)

YES!!! And THAT’S why I paid for an entire year!

Michael Cannon

Yay πŸ₯°

Sounds awesome

Vapor Shots

Ooh! What machine are you planning to get? πŸ˜„

Well, I guess this settles the second printer debate

Oh that's awesome! Thanks!

By being a Patron when a customizer bundle is available, you get unlimited and eternal access to a customizer bundle. You can also purchase the previous onles in store. You can try out previous sets here: https://www.theprintinggoeseveron.com/customizer/ The customizers allow you to export either a merged mini you need to pre-support yourself, or pre-supported bits that you can use to glue the model together. You build your mini and export a ZIP with the parts, then just drop them in your slicer and done! Modular model ready for print. You don't have to mirror files, search folders and what not :D

How do the customizers work? I haven't been subbed for one of those yet

I hope they'll also look awesome! Thank you!

I'm super excited, these all sound awesome!
