is there a separate way to download the bits? i'm wanting to customise already printed models and am looking to print just the cloaks.

I just started with printing minis from the configurator. Assembling the modular, pre supported hands though is quite a pain. So I am thinking about using the merged mini but w/o bigger accessories like the cloak. Or I have to practise the assembly some more.

true that it gives you more options, but I simply dont have the time for it so I prefer premade models. Ill see what next month brings in ready to print models.

Hi! The downloads for Chapter 28 are: * Medieval-Soldier-Customizer-Assets * Siege Weapons In Customizer chapters there are no monolith models. You can build them from the bits - that's the whole point in the release so you can have great personalization of the miniatures.

is chapter 28 also downloadable as a whole ,premade? I dont have the time to assemble the lot through the customiser app and would prefer to simply download the models premade as before. My library currently only shows the siege weapons and customiser app, so...

Yes, rotation is the main reason for a new app framework :) But as it was always stated, the app is mainly targeted at export of pre-supported bits, so even if the preview model shows intersections, your final assembly from bits will not have those of course. Most users don't use the merged miniature. Here is a tutorial how to fix those intersections on merged meshes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJiyUvsUvt8 As for the cloaks, if you're finding trouble making them stick, a thicker dab of CA glue sprinkled with baking soda makes a rock solid connection. You can also use a drop of resin and a UV flashlight for a firm attachment.

Has anyone printed from this current bundle with cloaks? A lot of the cloaks seem barely attached at the shoulders. Is there enough contact to survive tabletop play? Also, I see above you are working in the future to make a new app for the construction--might it include object rotation? A lot of the options don't work together because they clip through each other--even the presets (one of the archers' bow goes right through the middle of every quiver, and if you switch to the cloak that has the quiver on it, the bow goes through the cloak.

Ah, I'm not really talking about the sizing. The sizing can be changed. But heroic scale is the proportions. Classic GW minis are bulky, big heads, hands and feet. So our minis are skinny in comparison :D

Hello! I recently found you guys and just joined. I've already printed one mini and it came out great, you've really done your work well. My only concern is that the mini was a little bigger than I expected. Do you know what percentage I need to shrink a mini to get it to 25mm size? Other than that, I'm looking forward to perusing your store and see what other goodies you have.

Oh i dont mind about the scale of blood bowl minis, as they can be scaled. I just love the minis you have made and thought some of them would make good blood bowl teams, especially with all of the options for customization. I should add GW has messed with the scale too as they are 28mm and 32mm (with some 40mm too) so its a bit everywhere already It sounds like a lot of work to change the functionality, so no pressure if its not possible. I will be looking for the black friday deal for sure (27th).

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! Yes, there is a plan to make them work together (they are set up so they should be working seamlessly), but this requires quite a lot of tinkering. The main thing is that I need to re-make the app from scratch on a new framework to allow for more customizability, as the current one is very limiting. As for blood bowl assets, this is not something I've considered 😄 We're not in the heroic-scale genre, so the models wouldn't really mesh with other blood bowl minis I think.

I do love the customizer bundles .... but is there plans to make them more custom in the future, like being able to select different bundle parts and put them together in the customizer? I would like to get the half orc mounted onto the orc wrag, but that would require a new half orc mount body, or cutting the torso in half and replacing it. perhaps put a dwarf on a warg or a halfling on a goat (... im assuming that there will be a halfling customizer bundle in the future). also would it be possible to add some blood bowl parts to the customizer bundles? or create a new blood bowl bundle? just for more gaming and fun ect?

Gotcha! FYI, those as well are in the Viking customizer.

That would be great! If I could make one more request, it would be an inverted spear (point away from the thumb side) for stabbing or throwing. For some characters, that would work quite well. :-)

Thanks! We opted for no axe this time, as there were lots of those in the Viking customizer bundle. One might be added in the future though!

A really great set. what I would still like to see would be something like a single handed battle axe.

Hi! Lychee is always overreacting, you can ignore the issues. It mainly has problems with pre-supports generated in Chitubox. You can safely slice and print, you will get normal prints.

Hi, I always have issues with your models, they are "red" in Lychee Slicer and Microsoft 3D Builder, and I have to repair them. Sometimes Lychee Slicer can't repair "holes". MS 3D Builder can but after a very long processing time. Can you ensure that at least, bits from the download packages are without issues ? For exemples, try with all "mounts", they must be corrected.

Re-scaling won't really ruin the details and it's just 20% down. They'll work ;)

I dont mind either way, if it in Customizer or not. I know I could rescale, I just just worried about ruining the gorgeous details, especially next to the 25 bases

Hm, I can organize this. You need them in the customizer or standalone? Also, you can always just scale down the 50mm ones in slicer 🤗

Any chance of getting 40mm version of the cavalry bases?
