Regarding about Patreon changes in the future

In short, patrons pays more than ussual, because instead of the creators that pay those small fees, the patrons are the one who paid it instead
So for example:
a 1 dollar pledge cost 1 dollar for patrons, would give me 0,77 dollar, since im (creators) the one that pays the small fees for patreon and paypal
In the future, patrons will pay 1,22$ (more or less, since i forgot on how much) for pledging 1 dollar, and i get clean 1 dollar for 1 dollar pledge. Which is bad for you instead of me.
I would gladly pay those small fees instead of you actually, i don't really complain for that small money lost, as long you guys are happy and not being weighted down too much for just giving me a dollar per month, then im happy too...

ohh, thanks for telling the better fact than i do lol. and yeah, i expect a lot of patrons gonna stop pledging my and other creators.

2017-12-12 13:12:00 +0000 UTCWhat raptor said is accurate. Also, for people in Europe (like me), there is VAT on top, so $1 donation costs me $1.65 and you get $0.95. It's madness. I'm waiting to see how this shakes out. A lot of people are stopping their patreon donations, and creators are looking for other platforms. I might have to reconsider as well. I'm supporting 34 people, most at $1, so this is a really shitty change for me. Also, for the record, you were getting $0.85-$0.87 before the change, not $0.77. So, now you get $0.10 more, but we pay $0.38 more :D
