Last weekend I participated in an Open Day event here at my Canberra art centre. 13 of us artists opened our doors to allow members of the public to see inside our art spaces. Here is a look inside my studio, as I spoke to a visitor:

Merchandise: greeting cards and art prints

Anyway, I used this Open Day as the opportunity to create some merchandise, featuring some of my best stand-alone artworks. Here is a look at one of my two tables of merchandise:

This was the first time I'd created merchandise on such a large scale, so it was nice to see them all displayed next to each other.

I was selling the A4 prints for A$25 each or 2 for $45 (= US$17 each, or 2 for US$30).

And the greeting cards were A$4 each or 3 for A$10 (= US$3 each, or 3 for US$7).

These are high-quality products that are printed through high-end printers on quality paper and card stock. I didn't want to skimp on quality with these.

So, my question is: would you be interested in buying any of these cards or art prints? I am trying to understand how many of my core group of readers are interested in consuming my artwork in this physical 'art'-based format, compared to my usual format of online narrative comics.

I just thought I'd test the waters with this message before going ahead an setting up a shopfront, so please send me a Direct Message through Patreon if you'd like to buy some of these items. Or make other suggestions in the comments of this post.

At the very bottom of this post are the 24 illustrations that I got made into A4-sized art prints (29.7 × 42 cm, or 11.7 × 16.5 inches). I only printed 14 of these scenes as greeting cards, and you can see them in the photo above.
