For those that want to try playing a d&d session/campaing in Mark of the Fool world, a setting named Aetaltis has arcane magic that is in general similar to MoF magic, though the consequences for failure are more varried. Edit: By similarities I mean things like wizards being able to use any spell they have learned, being able to attempt to cast spells that are beyond their current abilities with higher risks and casting being skill based. The setting book is atleast on drivethroughrpg as World of Aetaltis.
