Thoughts about the future

I am going to change the way I live and I am excited! From now on my priority is going to be my happiness and the happiness of my friends and family. Because tomorrow we might not be here. You don't get a second chance. I'm going to stop measuring my worth by how much I accomplish, that is a bullshit metric and a deadly trap. When I get out of the hospital I'm going to take a couple of weeks to figure out how to go forward in a more sane and healthy way. I need some time to restructure, to take care of things that need to be taken care of. I want to move forward with a clean slate. Anyway, this is kind of a heads up. I don't know what's going to change for me professionally but something has to give. I still want to make comics and I still want to work on all the things but I need to find a better way to do that without losing myself. Anyway, this is a beginning of new thoughts. I don't have all the answers yet. That's okay. I'm not in a rush. But you guys will be the first to know when I do. It's going to be great. Thanks for sticking by me.

All I want is for you to be happy and healthy. Anything else is gravy. I'm so glad you are feeling a bit better.

As a member of your SFAM-ily I wish you the best and support your decisions! Get healthy first.

Glad you're on the mend. Take care of yourself first. Comics (and everything else) come after.

You got it Rob!

Keep us in the loop and I'll stick with you through this.

I still want you to make great content Jon. If that means less output, I am cool with it if it means you stay above ground and complete many more solar orbits.

Rod Uding

Wise words. Hope you find something that works well for you.

Dom Camus

seriously but ended up sounding like Deepak Chopra.

It's exciting to see someone publicly going through such an important re-factoring of their life. I'm sure such conscious introspection will be illuminating.Damn, I meant that
