Howdy! Most of you who have been following my adventures this summer know that I'm reassessing how I do my work to make sure I don't drive myself into an early grave. My SFAM output is down, because I'm working more on other projects behind the scenes. You'll get to see the fruits of those labors eventually but it seems disingenuous to claim that I'm going to make 13 comics a month when I'm clearly not going to be able to hit that target every time.
Some months are going to be light, some are going to be heavy. Once my 13-page DRIVE story starts running there'll be a shitload of comics all at once, for example. My basic promise is that I'm going to work as hard as I can to get you as much fun content to consume in as many ways as I can as long as you folks are cool with supporting me here on this website.
I'm thinking of editing the milestones to something more appropriate, and removing the number of comics per month. I think a move like that could free me up to work in multiple directions. I could do some Goats comics! I could certainly do that. I could put some work into the Dungeon Divers animated pilot. I could make a focused effort to finish up those last few Kickstarter rewards that have been my personal albatross for so fucking long.
I would replace the milestones with something more manageable. I don't know what exactly, but I'll do my best to make it enjoyable for you.
Anyway, I wanted to run this by you before I do anything. I don't want to spook you or do something that might scare you off or make you upset. You folks literally make this all possible and I owe you at least that much.
So I'm soliciting feedback. please be gentle. Thanks everyone.

That's all, there could be nothing in return, and I would still give. I figure I still owe you back to the early days of Goats being a regular laugh, getting me through some shit times.

That would have been the appropriate time to complain. You are, of course, welcome to stop pledging at any time, but I've been as upfront as possible about the difficulties I've faced and the changes I've needed to make.

You're no good to us dead, unless the undead can complete Goats from SuperHell , which I guess depends on the deal you struck with One Death. If I was the boss of you, I'd have you complete Goats. It's what Woody would have wanted. It's also what I'm willing / happy to pay for HINT HINT. (I've got all the print versions). SFAM is fine and fun, but I'd rather cosplay Oliver. Ok, that sounds like fun but I'll never get around to it :-) There's my two cents. Perhaps you could mix SFAM with Goats by portraying Goats as a TV channel that plays in the background while SFAM characters argue over ordering chinese vs. ordering airstrikes.

It's more important to me that you keep as much of some sort of control over your own existence and just do what you think will make you the happiest and healthiest. I'm sure we all appreciate being asked for input, but yeah: I can only speak for me but I'm pretty sure we all trust your judgement in your own work choices by now.
