Added 2017-10-05 04:52:27 +0000 UTCIf you're following along on twitter, you probably know already that we met our goal for Alec's SDR surgery rehab last night. I can't thank you all enough. I keep trying but it doesn't seem like I'm quite there yet.
As far as my sabbatical goes, your comments in my previous post were pretty much unanimous in support of keeping the Patreon going. Again, thank you. Your unwavering support is amazing. If you personally feel like pausing your pledges for the next few months I would totally understand and I wouldn't hold it against any of you.
I'm off to California for a week tomorrow for my brother's wedding. I had hoped to get a bonus strip up before today but this week has been super-weird and busy. I'll do my best to get one done as soon as I get back late next week (I know, I know, "Jon don't worry about it" but I need to make comics or I turn to dust).

Get some sleep finally. Enjoy the wedding and California! I know it's hard to say "thank you" enough since you're so overwhelmed by the generosity of people in such a short time. Realize that there's lots of good family, friends, and strangers who do good in the world for deserving causes. Good luck Alec, not Alex, like I posted when donating my small bit.
