Weekly Update - Jan 24th

A productive week for me as I fight yet another virus my kids brought home with them from school, this time of year (in cold climates of the northern hemisphere at least) are terrible for that.
I've completed 7 scenes out of the planned 16 for chapter 6 as of now. I am deep into the 8th scene which is the longest and most involved in terms of both script and rendering. I anticipate this one scene will take me around a week to complete.
Chapter 6 currently stands at 206 renders and despite my initial thoughts that it would be a smaller one than previous chapters, it's still going to be pretty hefty. I'm not going to adjust my delivery though, Chapter 6 will be a single chapter release (something I may switch too moving forward for future chapters too). I'm not comfortable yet putting an exact ETA on it but I don't think it will be far away from the 15th Feb date I originally set. If I get get it out earlier than that I will.
Other stuff: I need to plan in a phase to polish up some of the previous chapters. Writing new stuff is way more fun than going back and fixing up things that could have been done a little better. But when Chapter 6 is done, there will be a lot of content there that has just gone through one initial batch of testing and polish. I will have to think how I can schedule this in while keeping up my commitment to all you supporters to get the story updates out ASAP.
A short one this week, not a lot more to say other than I'm happy with the general progress and the story is bedding in nicely.
