Weekly update - August 15th

Hello Everyone,

I'll get right into it this week. I'm around a week behind the original schedule I put out a couple of weeks ago. That sounds bad right? Well it's not all that bad. I'm behind the schedule because I've expanded a couple of scenes and added another. Can I make up that lost time? Possibly. There are two weeks left before the date I had set and I'm very much entering the home stretch for the chapter. I just completed the 2nd part of the "big" scene with one part to go there, this one is likely to be the smallest in terms of renders. Following on from that I have 3 more scenes to render out for the chapter. I am cutting the final scene shorter than I had originally planned not to save time but because it will be better way for me to keep you interested to come back for chapter 10 :)

So to summarise, I have four scenes left and two weeks to hit my timeline. Certainly doable as none of these scenes are particularly on the large end of things. The one thing that that gives me pause is that, I still need to do a bunch of testing, that could result in extra renders or even scenes. I will re-iterate my message from previous weeks that I won't rush out this chapter at all, it will be ready when it's ready. It's a very important chapter in the story line. I have been able to catch up on the scripting side of things now, with most of that in place outside those last few scenes.

I think that's all I wanted to get out there for this week. Progress is positive, it may not appear that way but I'm seeing the chapter come together and I'm happy with the flow right now.
