I remember being so much in shock that everything else (including the Harry/Voldemort duel) was just what needed to happen in order to wrap it up. As for Snape, I loved his story arc and Rickman's portrayal in the movies, but I still can't fully like him because I feel that were it not for the Lily business, he'd have been happy as a Death Eater, watching Voldemort enslaving muggles right and left. I think the ambiguity is there till the end, which is nice!
