I like thinking about words too. I’m curious to know more about “understand”! The word I love lately is responsiblity.... “response” “ability” ... like literally do you have the ability to respond to others. I find it helpful when thinking about clients who are frustrated with someone’s lack of ability to respond the way they would like them to. I think it helps them move towards understanding that the other persons ability to communicate may not be about them, but about the others limitations at that moment.
