2019-04-17 16:42:29 +0000 UTCKetamine is used as a veterinariary tranquilizer. You are correct. I used it in my small animal patients in the past. I don't use it much anymore, but I use it for post op pain for major surgery. I'm not sure how or if horse vets use it. I've had it used once on myself for a minor medical procedure. It was an extremely pleasant experience.
