The National Review is one of the definitive publications of the American right, founded by none other than William F. Buckley himself. It's been around a long time. It's well informed enough to be occasionally interesting (although I categorically disagree with pretty much everything they print), but is the house publication of conservative intellectuals. I tend to think you need to strong understanding of the people you oppose, so I think dissecting this article is a good move. Ironically, polyamory isn't for me and I'm a little vexed by the recent upsurge in its popularity but people live how they want to live. No judgement, whatever floats your boat. I tend to have relatively few close friends and am somewhat reclusive though. I honestly don't get how people have the time and energy, emotional or otherwise to properly maintain more than one romantic relationship. Between work, hobbies, home improvement projects, and the serious relationship I'm already in, my dance card is pretty full..even if I wanted to, which I don't. I never thought I'd feel so old-fashioned and out of place.
