Thank you for bringing up the kids stuff. My mom was a germaphobe growing up and it's impacted my life greatly with my OCD, since I was so young it's ingrained in me and has taken a lot of work to get me to a place where I can regulate it

I would say most people get PTO but not sick time. Most people get 1-2 weeks unless youre in distinguished positions that counts as sick time, and some paid holidays. You cant be denied Healthcare, but the cost is steep
