This is a transition point in the story, and far enough along that the looks of the characters in the original comics have begun to solidify a little and are more consistent and less haphazard than they were at the beginning, when I had no idea I'd be drawing them hundreds of times each.
So for the next pages I'll be trying to preserve more of the original line art where it looks good, and updating it in places for the sake of consistency or whim. Fonts and colors are fair game, though.
My hope is that this will be a much quicker process and I'll have more pages to show you at a faster pace for the remainder of the book. But it's an experiment, and I'll adjust my strategy as I go and for unique situations as they present themselves. Stay tuned!
