A Quick Hello

Hi everyone! I know things have been pretty quiet here over the last month, just wanted to give you a quick update on what I've been up to and what I'll be doing.

Earlier in the month, my son Alec had some surgeries on his legs related to his cerebral palsy. I'm not going to get into the details, because I'm not comfortable sharing his medical info publicly for reasons I'm sure many of you can surmise. But we're friends here, and I've been "sleeping" on the couch in the living room next to a rented hospital bed so I may not be in the right state of mind to be making great decisions.

Anyhoo, my time has mostly been taken up with a variety of nursing duties and the remaining time has been an attempt to catch up on sleep so I can continue to function.

Things are improving, and while we have a long road ahead of us, I'm eager to get back to work now that the holidays are over and healing has begun. I'm sure I won't be able to draw as frequently as I'd like but that's been the case pretty much since I had children. Not that I regret it one bit! It just forces you to prioritize.

Anyway, that's it for now. I'm expecting a quote on printing prices for Operation Porcine Thunder any moment now and I'll let you know when we proceed with that. Should have PDFs for you not long after. I'll update more on the Kickstarter site about that when I have a window and the energy.
