i just read some trivia on the neko song, apparently nekomamushi wasn't planned until brook's VA made the song: "Brook's voice actor, Chō, made-up a song about "going off to meet Nekomamushi". It impressed Oda enough that he decided to integrate Nekomamushi into the manga, as well as the song itself." edit: ah just saw you already covering that during another discussion rn, maybe i should watch entire videos before commenting haha
