Oh! Also, if you want to play the original Visual Novel, even if only for the FATE route (the first route in the game), it recently got a remaster and is on STEAM and SWITCH. The only reason I bring this up is because the original Fate anime, which adapts the FATE route, is not a very good adaptation. Staying anime only will not confuse you though, so don't worry about not playing the VN. I will say if you like Fate you should check out Tsukhime Remake. It is amazing and will sadly probably never get an anime adaptation after the failure that the first try at an adaption was. Sorry for the long comments I am like a super fan.

Also, I don't know if you know this but Fate Zero was actually not written by the original creator of the Fate franchise (Nasu) it was actually made by the creator of Madoka Magica (Urobuchi). This makes the tone and even characterization different, so the two series are pretty distinct, even being directly connected. Both give a different feeling, so I am excited to see your reactions to both and which you will like more!
