One Piece - Film: Gold FULL-LENGTH

And there we go! Both films completed! I'm likely going to edit them both into one video on YouTube, hence the lack of intro on this video. Enjoy!

One Piece - Film: Gold FULL-LENGTH

The director had a different climax planned but Oda disagreed and gave a 30 page storyboard (most of which was still cut because that's over 30 minutes) to change the ending, redrawing parts of the last 10 minutes of storyboards. Specifically, I think Oda had them parallel Luffy with Tesoro's scenes when saving someone.

--Cameos in the city include Heracles, Wanze, Absalom, and Gedatsu, among others. --Tesoro's entire backstory is explained in supplemental materials. His mother hated his singing and his father was a gambler who died of illness because they were too poor for surgery. They grew poorer so he ran away at 12 and became a thief with bad friends. At 16 he lost a gamble and was deserted and nearly sold, escaping by a hair. He then met and fell in love with Stella at the Human Shop (who was sold by her gambling father) and spent 3 years working trying to earn her legitimately because she hated criminals. He tried and failed to save her when she was bought, but was an abused slave for another 7 years, forbidden to smile. Stella died after the first 2 years which cemented his obsession with money which would have saved her. He escaped during the Fisher Tiger incident. The Boa-Gorgon sisters are also running in the background. He hid his dragon brand with his own and returned to crime and piracy. 3 years later he stole the Gol-Gol Fruit from a scam Donquixote auction, but became business partners with Doffy even later after surviving all his assassins. His goal was to become rich enough to enslave the Celestial Dragons. --The next film is actually Stampede, but due to it spoiling things even before the manga itself at its release, you can't watch it until halfway in Wano (during an Act break). Then Film: Red is after Wano.
