Hi everyone! Before we get to the new page of Goats, may I have a minute of your time?

I know it's in short supply. Over the last few years I've not had as much time as I'd like. Parenting has been a challenge for me! It means I have to focus the limited work time I have on things like making comics instead of things like promotion of this Patreon. And, over those years, I've seen a decline in my earnings here and in the number of paid patrons. I'm making almost $2k less a month than I was not too long ago.

There are other factors, of course, the economy has gone to shit and everything is more expensive now. People need to cut back. I certainly have. But my family has a mountain of medical debt that's been crushing us. I have a daughter about to enter college. And I'm running out of time to figure out how to make things work financially, how to make it make sense to keep doing comics like this.

I've had a good run, if this is as far as I get it was still a good time. But I'd like to keep going. There's projects I want to make I haven't even had time to start yet. I don't know if it's possible to get a thousand new two dollar patrons, It seems unlikely. But it also seems like it's a last-ditch effort worth trying.

So! I'm posting this new page and making it available to everyone, paid or unpaid, and asking for your help. If you're following me here on Patreon and you're a free member, you're missing out! It only costs two bucks a month to get all the new Goats comics, and with more support I would love to also make more Dungeon Divers redraws in preparation for that book. And all paid patrons get six free Goats ebooks, yours to keep (and discounts on the rest). If the 900 free members reading this signed up at the two dollar level, I'd be able to stop bugging you and get back to making more comics for you, which I think is what we all want, in the end.

If you're already a paid member, thank you! You have been my main source of support for many years now, and I hate to come to you like this, hat in hand, asking for more. But if you feel like bumping up your pledge a buck or two, it would help so much. If you can't, I more than understand, and I thank you for your patronage, past, present and future, at whatever level is comfortable for you.
