Here Sanji's relationship with Sora and Reiju become more clear than before. While Zeff kicked chivalry into Sanji, it was his mother and sister that first made him so empathetic and indirectly a perv who only likes women. In his childhood, females were the only ones who treated him with respect so via attribution it shaped his young psyche over the point of addiction. Then the fact that Judge disowned him twice, indirectly and then face to face, sealed his fear of rejection. When Luffy was about to impulsively disown Usopp in Water 7, SANJI kicked him with rage and said "Watch it!" which you even brought up somewhere I think. He knew what it means to be abandoned and maybe Oda planned it. Funnily enough, that same arc Robin came in contact with only Sanji and Chopper and directly disowned them, the two with abandonment issues. I almost forgot to mention his view of women even resulted in him feeling closeted as seen on Peachy Island, he truly admires them and he came out for a while. Also it's a strange coincidence that Sora has the same name as the Navy hero who fights Germa in the comic strip.
