I was unaware of the opening change until the re-watch (I skipped the opening to avoid spoilers) - If I see a character who I know for a fact is important on a show I like, my brain does all sorts of things which makes me not forget them and I begin to start theorising basically unwillingly). One example is, I saw a glimpse of a characters name (had yet to be revealed) in an anime, who I know is an important figure, and let's just say I'm never forgetting the name... :,)
