Not only Zero and FSN are different media,they were written by different people. When I finished Original fsn,I immediately read ZERO(before the show was made).The whole feeling of the story was so different, alienated me so much And I almost have to force me to finish reading. But at when the anime finally came out, My opinion towards Zero changed 180 degree. although it is the same exact story, I like anime version way more than the novel.
