Miscarriage Grief

Comments

Thanks for this very meaningful discussion. I had 11 miscarriages after my son and daughter were born. Two of them were farther along and very traumatic, holding the little baby in my hands, ect. After getting medical tests, nothing was found to be the cause. I got pregnant very easy and kept hope that each one might be the one that makes it. I was quite alone in my pain and pretended to the outside and to myself I was fine and not as deeply affected by them. Long story short, many moves, deep pains, unprocessed grief and ups and downs ensued. My husband and I separated for a while after his mistreatment continued to escalate. I went to India and came back and reunited with him and became pregnant. Our family is doing much better and I am now holding our sleeping 11 month old in my arms as Iisten . So grateful for this miracle, and learning about attachment style parenting this time! Having this baby brought up the past griefs of the losses but grieving them in a better way now instead of repressing the pain. It's been very healing. Thanks so much for everything ๐Ÿ’ž
