I'm glad you listened. Yeah, Freudian ideas are many and complex. Some considered good and some bad.

As a layperson with only a superficial education on topics in psychology, I definitely had this shallow view of Freud and a general sense of disdain for Freudian concepts. I appreciate this breakdown of those assumptions and it has really changed my views on the subject and the kind of therapy I might seek for myself going forward.
