Hallway Fun + Bonus Video

I've been busy as ever lol My kitchen is actually making more progress, I've gotten the stovetop to work and in theory the dishwasher is ready to be used, and my bathroom got a little light going on. There's a light around the mirror but the ceiling lights are not on yet.
The legal dispute I'm in that I eluded to in a previous post is still going on, it's super stressful. The new owner of my old apartment wants me to pay for them a new floor in the living room area, due to "the wear and tear damage was more then they thought it was", and when I said no, they came with (at the time and especially now) dubious claims and photos that there was water damage and the floor had too much moisture. I've had a lot of back and forth with lawyer help as IF there actually is water damage it should go through the insurance that's on the building, but for strange reason the new owner refuses to contact the insurance company. So all work fall on me contacting the leader of the "HOA" of the building and then schedule stuff with the insurance company,
Here's the fun part, the insurance company had their own neutral investigator to check the moisture levels and the flooring, and their readings do not have too high moisture and the "damage" on the floor is consistent with normal wear and tear (it's over 10 years old floor that's untreated wood). Also interesting the pictures the insurance company sent indicates the apartment is not lived in...
I have some suspicions on what's going on... But I'll remain civil about this lol
