Such an eye opening series. I laughed at the incredulous of it all. But yes I agree that we need to challenge our own biases. The UK have similar TV programmes such as 'benefit street' that follows people on state benefits in a run down area. The programme has received criticism for the reasons that Kirk has outlined. Firstly, these people don't represent the majority of working class law abiding citizens, secondly, their issues such as addictions should not be salacious entertainment for the rest of us. Really enjoyed hearing this viewpoint.
