Stop Lying

I have no poker face. When people ask me a question I just straight up tell them my opinion. I struggle with the omission of truth. It feels very selfish and like in the long term I might be causing more damage. Either they might lose their confidence, or it’s not my place to insert my opinion, or that person will not trust my truth and it will cause more conflict than be helpful. The distinction between tact and being truthful is tough sometimes and while I just try to use wisdom it can miss sometimes. Your view was interesting. P.s. I feel the same way about funerals.

I like when Berto's on the Podcast! I feel like they have a great relationship and are pretty open with one another. All stories are pretty consensual to me. Aside from that, I really need this deep dive- I definitely lie way waaay too much, and im so used to it that it's just natural to me at this point. :(
