I like both your and Humbertos songs. Yours specifically, I like the first one alot and the second which also sounds almost neo Beatles. 💗

Claire Smyth

For me the problem with any creative drive is that I feel no internal enjoyment from anything I do. I do suffer from clinical depression and anxiety so that is probably the issue... I think the guitar example on creativity drivre you give is more applicable to people without depression...

Emily

The Shins? High praise. One of my favorite bands.

Psychology In Seattle

I found some inspiration and mind shifting around creativity from the book/audiobook The Creative Act by Rick Rubin, if anyone is interested in something like that!

Rachel

Same, Beatles-vibes!

Emma Regan

"If you kill a puppy" you should feel shame. I would like the many good people who are patrons of this podcast and not yet vegan to reflect on this, also the hosts.

Emma Regan

I really enjoyed Humberto’s song!

Ashley

This is great music! The trio song sounded like the Shins.also for me good songs give me goosebumps, the “ stuck in time” song gives me goosebumps! Amazing.

I'm listening now. Great tune! Yeah, I'm obsessed with The Radio Dept - https://open.spotify.com/track/2eZeB5f2Ln5Qo1ghuk2293?si=0919d47d8f15447e

Why does Kirk’s high school music remind me of modern day lofi dreampop? Think it would fit right in! (Reminds me slightly of this song). Thanks both of you for your vulnerability in sharing your work, it was lovely! : ) https://open.spotify.com/track/0iWaAN8NFPzId9sunMVJTw?si=uiv54bTgQcuDU9ADUTeGwQ

Berto’s voice is really REALLY good. Like really. And I am a huge snob about male vocalists (eg I measure them by George Jones).

I'm also a big fan of ceramics. It's wonderful holding or looking at something you made

Teo

It's very sad that people who have a creative drive that you are describing often can't access it when they are suffering from depression.
