Far away from the carnage at the prison complex, a kind-hearted woman busied herself with an intimate gesture of love for her would-be husband. Blossoming from an innocent young girl into a mature woman over the course of ten years, it had seemed that the worst challenges were behind the pair, and their friends. And though the future was as unstable as ever, she was determined to settle down with the man she loved.
There were complications about that relationship, of course: she was a superhero from beyond the stars, and her boyfriend kept himself very busy serving as a vanguard against evil, much like his mentor before him.
Starfire was eager to develop her skills in home-economics. She was expecting Robin to come home after a big superhero council meeting abroad, and she hoped to have a hot meal waiting for him. But she struggled with the recipe: basic things like mixing up a teaspoon for a tablespoon, using cinnamon instead of paprika, boiling the chicken instead of basting it...
She hit up the grocery store to pick up one of those pre-cooked rotisserie chickens; her nostrils flared up as she took in the savory aroma. "Mm... guess this'll have to do."
She filled her basket with a salad kit and some steamed broccoli before turning to make her way to the cash registers. She passed by the pharmaceutical section on the way over and paused as she window-browsed some of the hygienic products. Her green eyes drifted over various brands of condoms, along with some home pregnancy test kits.
She frowned to herself, a pang of need hitting her all of a sudden. It reminded her of how much she had fantasized starting a family with Robin, having a kid of their own. But things had become so busy that she never had the chance to bring up the idea. And if Robin didn't like the sound of that, well, it would break her heart. She was an emotional woman, after all; emotions were the source of her power, in a sense.
Starfire shuffled over to the cash register to make her purchase. She didn't make much of an attempt to hide her identity—Robin insisted she stick to a pseudonym, but she ended up settling on an Americanized version of her real name—but even in a casual black blazer and miniskirt combo, her glowing green eyes were pretty much a dead give-away with most people. Not that she minded the attention, it was nice to mingle with people who appreciated her...
...But for whatever reason, she detected a bit of hostility from the cashier. The teenager was giving her a glowering look as she bagged her things.
"That'll be $15.80," the teenager growled. Starfire blinked—what was this kid's problem?? She wanted to ask about it, but the fiascos from tonight's attempt at a home cooked meal left her out of it, so she sighed, and fished around in her wallet.
"Here you go. Exact change." Starfire let the coins and bills clatter on the counter before reaching for her bag. "Thanks!"
"No problem. Hope Robby-poo enjoys the meal!~" The girl cheered in a sarcastic, singsongy drawl, before turning to the register.
"...'Robby-poo'...?" This overly saccharine choice of words gave Starfire pause; she turned to give the teenager a quizzical look, but the teenager choice to ignore her, picking up the phone. Starfire stared for a spell, frowning to herself, and then shuffled off.
There was an unexpected heaviness to the air as she hurried out onto the streets, once that weighed oppressively on her. A strange haze hovered all around her, settling like a smoky fog. It wasn't like this in the daytime, she noted silently to herself.
But what really perturbed Starfire were the looks she was getting from the people all around her. Pedestrians, taxi drivers, people getting on and off the box. It seemed like someone was watching her carefully in her peripheral vision no matter where she looked. And every single person had such spiteful, hateful looks to give her.
Did I do something wrong? Starfire wondered to herself. She had been nothing but good to the people here. She even got the key to the city framed above her mantle. There was a strange presence around her, a hostility she hadn't felt in some time...
"AIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"
But Starfire couldn't ruminate on the situation for long before the tension spiked with a bloodcurdling scream. Starfire gasped, dropping her groceries on the spot, trying to pin down where the noise was coming from. The high-pitched screech bounced off the walls, coming from a nearby alleyway. She dashed forward, skidding on her heels as she ducked into the alleyway!
What she found chilled her to her core. There were two shady looking guys, tattoos lining their bodies, hunched over a prone, red-headed woman sprawled along the ground. Her clothes had been hastily torn off, and one of them held her head in his hands, plunging his tongue into her mouth for a forceful, one-sided kiss.
"GET OFF OF HER!" Starfire commanded, holding her arms forward; they glowed with an otherworldly energy, before firing a searing-hot projectile aimed at the man's upper-back. She toned the power level down to stun, not kill.
The man tumbled over wordlessly, crumbling to the ground as the pungent stench of burning flesh filled the air. The other man rose to his feet and dove forward with a haymaker swing, baring his teeth aggressively. But Starfire was ready, weaving under the swing and countered with a hard swing to the gut; her fist sunk into his flesh, leaving a visible imprint and a wet squelch.
The man collapsed to the ground, gurgling. Starfire looked down on him with a quizzical look, looking at her fist, and then the fist-sized hole she left in him. She must've punched him hard enough to break his rib cage, but she didn't feel any bone at all... just something that felt like under-hydrated dough. The man seemed incapacitated, and her attention turned towards the writhing woman. Starfire glided over, hovering over her.
"Are you okay? Can you walk? I can take you to a hospital!" Starfire examined the stripped down, trembling woman.
"Th... that man..." The woman was short of breath, her long red hair in a disheveled mess. She turned her head towards the man that had violated her moments ago. Starfire's gaze followed hers...
The man should've been scorched from her earlier energy bolt strike... but he seemed fine! Almost unscratched! Starfire knew she hit him, she saw the explosion of light, but he was out like a light, like a puppet with its strings cut.
"What the..." Starfire stared for a spell, before shaking her head and redirecting her attention towards the woman. "D-doesn't matter, can you walk? We should get out of here, it's dangerous-"
"I... I can't, I... I can't feel my..." The woman's voice was weak and raspy. She tilted her head back as her entire body began to shake violently on its own.
"H-hey, what's happening? S-stay with me!" Starfire kneeled down next to her, taking her hands in her own. "E-everything's going to be fine!"
"No, it's... r, ruuu-uuuuhhh..." The woman was slurring her words together, the light in her eyes fading out as her hands grabbed at the pavement, tearing up the skin on her fingers.
And then, all of a sudden, she froze up, her eyes widening. Her head tilted to the side, her tongue lolling out as she drooled slightly.
"R... R-Robby-Poo...~" She cooed aloud, her voice barely above a raspy whisper.
Starfire stared in astonishment. "W... what're you saying- ah!?"
Starfire felt a wet sensation around her enclosed hand; she lowered her eyes, gawking as the woman's fingers seemed to liquify within her grasp, oozing out between the gaps of Starfire's enclosed fist. Starfire staggered to her feet as the woman moaned and chuckled, her formless arm lowering towards her panties to stroke her bubbling pussy as her remaining clothes melted off, her body lurching into a flesh-hued, slimy blob that pulsated and writhed on the ground, absorbing the woman's strands of red hair.
"What is this stuff...?" Starfire murmured, astonished.
Shlorp... the ooze shifted on its own, wet sucking sounds punctuating its movements as it slithered along the ground. She turned as, out of the corner of her eye, one of the shady men had melted down in turn, shifting to follow the woman. A third trail of ooze met up with the other two, and fused together into one pale, flesh-like blob, scooching along the ground like a featureless snake.
Its tail-like rear rose up into the air, waving towards Starfire in a strange, yet familiar motion, as if it was beckoning her to follow. Starfire grimaced. This seemed extremely dangerous, but she should at least scout the situation, and flag Robin if it was too much for her. She could fly out of there if things get dicey.
She hovered along, following the flesh-hued blob deeper into the alley. It slipped underneath a heavy pair of iron doors. Starfire recognized this place; it was an abandoned warehouse, somewhat notorious for being a spot for illicit deals of all kinds.
"I got a bad feeling about this..." Starfire reached for the handle. She expected it to be locked, but she didn't see a padlock; the door creaked open with a tug, its hinges well-overdue for an oiling...
Starfire steeled her nerves, and let herself in, glancing around to spot an ambush. There was someone in here, but the warehouse was a mess; so many shelves had collapsed on their own long ago, and a cleanup company apparently gave up part way through before sweeping up the shattered glass shards that remained.
But she was focused on the path the ooze was taking. It traveled towards the center of the room, towards a figure shrouded in shadow. They stepped out into the light...
"Ah, Starfire! Such a delight for you to join us!~ I've been looking everywhere for you! We have some catching up to do!~"
A chilling cackle filled the room as Starfire tensed up into a battle-ready stance. There was a woman waiting for her here, and from the sounds of it, she knew Starfire. Starfire wasn't sure if she knew this woman; the gaudy, pink sundress seemed to be several sizes too small for the woman, on account of her overly-pronounced chest, hips and ass, with gorgeous blonde hair that practically glowed. Her eyes sparkled with an eerie, malicious intent.
Her heels clicked against the floor as she kneeled down to run her hand along the slimy blob that had retreated from Starfire, coaxing it with an extended hand with a tender touch and an affectionate smile, not far removed from how one would regard a beloved pet. The slime lurched and rippled, before a facsimile of a woman's face—the same woman who melted in front of Starfire!—formed from the ooze in a drunken smile.
"MadAme MotH..." The ooze gurgled and hiccupped bizarrely, her face squished within the woman's embrace.
"Ohhh, the boys must've mixed you up for that alien skank... well, welcome to the family!~" The woman cackled, leaning over as if to kiss her...
...Only, her jaw seemed to unhinge like a snake clamping down on its prey, the slimy mass she had cradled eagerly plunging itself into her esophagus as she swallowed it whole! She licked her lips, her tongue twice as long as it ought to be as her gut protruded for a moment. She patted her belly tenderly as it slimmed out in a matter of seconds, before she raised her expression to Starfire; she had watched everything with a look of palpable disgust.
"Wh... what the hell are you??" Starfire gawked. She squinted her eyes in concentration. "Wait... Moth... the pink dress, the blonde hair, the pet names... Kitten!?"
"Oh! You finally remembered! I'm so flattered!" Kathryn shouted, lashing her arm forward; it rapidly shapeshifted into a fleshy tendril as it hurtled straight for Starfire; she gasped and tumbled to the side to dodge it as it crushed the remains of several shelves.
"I was going to draw you out here with my pheromones... but as it turns out, what works on humans doesn't work for flighty alien harpies! So, tell me what you think!" Kitten leaned forward, moaning as a pressure peaked along her upper back.
She gasped as a pair of iridescent moth wings sprouted from her back, dwarfing her in stature. Their scales shimmered with a gleaming quality, it was almost entrancing; as they fluttered, they released a fine powder in the air, hovering to produce a familiar, oppressive heaviness that Starfire remembered from her rounds out on the streets.
"Whenever people get a whiff of my moth-y pheromones, their minds go blank, POP! And then they do whatever I tell them to! Like be on the lookout for a certain green-eyed freak!~" Kathryn struck a cutesy pose. "Am I adorable? Am I ravishing? This new body of mine is pure, nonstop delight, you know!" Kathryn swooned.
"What do you want with me!?" Starfire blurted, raising her hands in front of her as they glowed with ultralight energy.
"Don't play coy with me, witch!'' Kathryn scowled. "For aaaaaall these years you've had Robby-poo aaaaaall to yourself! And I think it's high time you disappeared! He's mine!"
As Kathryn bellowed, her arms split into myriad tentacles, hovering all around her; her skin glistened as if it was getting wet all over, beads of ooze trickling down her form. Her insect abdomen swelled in turn along with the rest of her body, her pink sundress struggling to contain her curves. And her voice deepened to a monstrous howl...
"And I ALWAYS get what I want..." Kathryn licked her lips. "Oh, the things I could do to Robby-poo~"
:"YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIM YOU MONSTER!!" Starfire shouted, rage swelling in her voice as she unleashed a massive blast of energy from her fingers; the beam cut through Kathryn like a hot knife through butter, but the seam left behind seemed to seal up again in mere moments; Kathryn's lips parted into a toothy grin as Starfire paused, before scowling as she redoubled her attack.
"YAAAAA!" Starfire cried out as she unleashed a barrage of energy strikes at Kathryn; the amorphous insect woman didn't even try to dodge as she was peppered with blast after blast, detonating inside and around her. Kathryn could feel her tentacles sever and flop to the floor, and one blast aimed for her cleavage caused her to collapse in on herself, her head flung off by another devastating blow! Her entire body deformed, lurching to the floor in wet pulsations.
Before long, the smoke cleared, and Starfire found Kathryn reduced to a pile of formless, flesh-hued ooze. She huffed, exhausted from her exertion; it had been a long time since she had put so much energy and power behind her strikes, fueled by love for Robin.
Starfire stared at the ooze on the ground, trying to make out what the heck it was. The texture reminded her of her encounters with one Madame Rouge, but... that couldn't be, she was locked up years ago...
"!" Starfire gasped as the ooze shifted again, stirring along the ground, her thought process interrupted by an ominous laughter; it sounded like it was filtered through an old radio.
"You can't kill me in a way that matters...~" Kathryn chuckled. "But it's fun that you resist~"
This was bad. Starfire couldn't do anything against this opponent. She had to get out, she had to get in contact with Robin, and anyone else she knew. If Madame Rouge had escaped, and could possess people now, the situation was untenable. Starfire backed towards the door leading outside, her hands glowing to blow the exit wide open...
But as soon as she made a move, a tendril lashed out to grab at her leg. Three more followed to quickly bind her limbs. Starfire cried out as she was unceremoniously dragged away from the door, towards the pulsating mass, struggling to break free.
Kathryn's formless, slimy body raised Starfire before her, limbs pulled in all directions; the slimy ooze split open down the middle, and Kathryn emerged as if waiting inside of a cocoon, her lower body melding with the rest of the ooze. She licked her lips, looking over Starfire as she struggled fruitlessly.
"Oh boy, a new toy~" Kathryn giggled. "We're going to have SO MUCH FUN together!~"
"You... you're insane..." Starfire grunted, trying to move her wrists; perhaps if she blasted away the tendrils with an energy blast-
K-KRACK! Starfire cried out as a splitting pain rippled down her right arm, the tendril twisting painfully past her breaking point, snapping her arm; her bone broke through the skin as blood trickled down her body. Starfire exhaled sharply, her voice trembling.
"You know what was the most fun I had as a kid?" Kathryn cocked her head to the side. "I liked dolls... and plucking their parts off, limb, by, limb~"
CRUNCH! The tendril on her other arm slithered up to Starfire's armpit and, with a sickening wrench, tore her arm clean off from its socket!
"G-GYEAAAAH!!!" Starfire cried out, the pain overwhelming. She hung her head, her power weakening. She was losing blood fast... but Kathryn lurched forward, cupping Starfire's head in her hands.
"This is a FRACTION of the PAIN you put me through all these years, Starfire." Kathryn's expression darkened. But then she smiled, stroking Starfire's tear-stained cheek. "So I'll just make you my toy instead~"
A tendril sprang up from behind Kathryn, plunging down to envelop Starfire's entire head; Starfire let out a muffled scream as thick, viscous protrusions surged to occupy her airways. She writhed, unable to breath as her lungs felt like they were on fire, heavy ooze filling her body as a phallic protrusion fitted itself to her mouth, sliding down her esophagus.
Kathryn delighted in Starfire's struggle to breath, producing two more fleshy tendrils to wrap around Starfire's torso, holding her in place as they painfully compressed her chest. Her muted screams for help fell on deaf ears as liquid filled her skull, entering her pores, melting her brain.
And then, Starfire cease to struggle, her gasps slowing to a guttural moan and a pitiful whimpering, the light in her eyes fading as her body went slack. Kathryn loomed over her with a smile so wide it threatened to split her face in half; she ran a hand through Starfire's long, red hair.
"Shhhh... it'll all be over soon~" Kathryn chuckled. "I'm bored with you, but when I feel like playing with you again, breaking you into pieces again and again, I'll bring you back out, okay?"
Kathryn reassured her with an almost angelic quality... before grabbing Starfire's hair with a violent forcefulness and jerking her down to press against Kathryn's engorged vulva.
"But you can pleasure me one last time~" She cackled, her oozing lower body shifting forward to envelop Starfire in thrusting pulsation, wet squelches punctuating her every movement as Starfire's limp body was drawn more and more inside of her. A jolt of energy, of raw power, tickled Kathryn to her very soul, her heartbeat—at least, if she still had a heart—syncing up with Starfire's pulse. Her amorphous body tugged insistently at Starfire, each semi-liquid section of her body sucking at Starfire's body as her clothes melted away within Kathryn.
The insect-slime hybrid gyrated, her breasts shaking and hips rocking as she lolled her head back, her hungry body pulling in Starfire little by little, head first. She could feel the alien superheated in her body, broken apart into little pieces, and spreading like a wildfire through her extremities, moaning loud as her outer walls enclosed around Starfire's toes, compressing her into a fetal position as Kathryn cradled the full-grown woman in her furnace of a womb.
Her gut melted away as the remainder of Starfire's body melted away within her; everything that made Starfire an individual had been surrendered to Kathryn. Decades of memories flooded her mind: happy and sad times, strategies from crucial battles... and most important of all, a pure, uncompromising affection for Robin, her one and only love.
"Hah..." Kathryn touched herself all over, feeling the power radiating within her as she felt Starfire's superhuman strengths become her own. Her fingers glowed with ultraviolet energies. If she wanted, she could stay here all night, indulging her hypersensitive body and her overtuned nerves.
But as Starfire's being melded with Kathryn as a subservient, yet important part of her soul, Kathryn was possessed with a reinforced vigor to seek out Robin. To pleasure him in ways Starfire never could.
And perhaps, in the end of it all, to start a family. One that would bring Starfire closure... and would bring pride to her father's legacy. Kathryn's eyes glowed with an insidious green glow as she ruminated to herself, tentacles poking and prodding at her swollen form...
