Part 1

Seemingly overnight, the world had turned into a very different place. For millennia, the common belief was that humankind represented the apex species, the only ones capable of navigating complex societies. Now, that was no longer the case.

They called it The Awakening. A new era where otherworldly monsters and creatures rose to reclaim the earth.

Figures of myth and fantasy began to populate modern cities, walking the earth as they had in old fables. It wasn't clear as to why angels, demons, and monsterfolk descended upon the earth all at once. Perhaps Ragnarok had been cancelled properly, or mankind had sinned beyond reckoning. Maybe an alien sunflare stirred about new mutations, or maybe they just... finally felt like leaving the house.

There were many theories, and the situation was still turbulent. But in many places in society, life went on, and average folks were content to keep their heads down, and perhaps get to know their new neighbours like any other.

One such person went by the name of Kazuya. A man in his early 30s, he went through most of his life fighting for whatever he could get. He came from a low-income family, and he prided himself on his work-ethic and overall hard-headedness; discipline set him apart from his peers, got him through school, into a reputable trades school... and now he earned a stable income as a car mechanic. Actually, he was doing better for himself than ever... though considering he had been on food stamps five years prior, that wasn't saying a lot.

He was a flexible thinker, and this whole business with a surge of "demihumans", as the fantastic new citizens would come to be known, turned out to be a boon of its own. With society largely built for the convenience of bipedal humans, there were myriad new body types to account for. And factories were slow, or perhaps too unwilling to refit their production lines, which meant that he was taking on more and more projects to retool existing vehicles for new kinds of demihumans.

He huffed, brushing back his messy brown hair as he looked over his current project, a station-wagon with the rear seats gutted. To make space for the lower body of a centaur. He also needed to reinforce the springs, and it was really a much more intensive project than he ever gave credit for.

"She's a damn horse... well, horse lady, right...?" Kazuya muttered, wiping some sweat from his brow. "Can't she just walk? They did that in the olden days..."

"Hello Kazuya."

He felt a chilling presence as a sultry voice breathed directly on the back of his neck. It belonged to a woman, her voice low and husky. He yelped in surprise, darting forward and reflexively reaching for a pipe wrench, spinning around to get a look at his ambusher.

"H-HEY! What're you... you...?"

The adrenaline wore off in a hurry as he realized he was facing a woman. And a gorgeous looking woman at that, though there was an uneasy aura about her. Her skin was pale as ivory, and she wore a black, leather dress that billowed around her in gentle waves. And her red eyes... she fluttered her eyelashes as she seemed to stare right through him.

"Mmhmhm~ What a delightful expression you made just now..." She purred, raising her hand to chuckle with the practiced grace of an old noble. Kazuya grit his teeth, lowering the wrench.

"Hey, lady, this is the workshop, you can't be here." Kazuya explained, gesturing for the door. "You need to wait at the front desk, my secretary Naomi's there-"

"Oh, is that considered proper etiquette here?" She cocked her head to the side. "I just... wanted to see you. It was terribly urgent..."

...So it was an emergency? She didn't sound terribly distraught about it... actually, she seemed pleased. The way the corners of her mouth twisted gave the impression of a snake ready to unhinge its jaw. And the aura this lady gave off was something else... now that he was thinking about it, wouldn't she have tripped the doorbell if she entered through the front? Where did she come from...?

Kazuya spent altogether too much time thinking, mesmerized by this ghostly woman. She approached closer with a strange gait.

"So here, you work on machines... this work suits you, Kazuya." She complimented him gently, her eyes unmoving, unblinking.

"Uh, yeah." Kazuya nodded. "But, uh, how do you know my name...?"

"...mm. A very good question... very astute." She grinned wider. "I simply... came across it in the directory."

The tone of her voice was so off-kilter, it was as if she had constructed a thin lie on the spot. But the overwhelming aura she gave off had a relaxing effect on Kazuya. Still, he tried to firm himself up.

"Listen, lady, I-"

"Lucy. You may call me Lucy." The lady interrupted, tilting her head with a warm smile.

"...Lucy. I got a lot of work to do today, so if you don't have an appointment, you're going to have to go make one with Naomi." Kazuya again gestured to the door. "And then I'd prolly be able to get back to you in a month or so-"

"Is that so? How fortuitous that I, in fact, do have an appointment. For today, in fact. As of right now..." She tilted her head to the other side. "You would keep a woman of my stature waiting, Kazuya...?"

Kazuya blinked at Lucy's surprising assertion, before his expression narrowed into a scowl. He glanced back to the gutted station wagon that he was supposed to be working on for another hour.

"Mrgh...I'm not so sure about that." Kazuya shook his head. "Naomi would've let me know if someone like you was coming."

"Oho." Lucy chuckled, her smile widening as her scarlet eyes narrowed. "It's quite possible she made a mistake."

"Naomi's good at her job. I rely on her a lot." Kazuya growled, before storming past the woman. "Fine, I'll talk to her. She'll have the straight of it."

"Mmhmhm... of course she will." She smiled politely, the corner of her mouth twitching with Kazuya's command. "I'll follow you, Kazuya."

"Damn straight you will, I'm not leaving you here." He grunted. "No place for someone with no training."

"Mmhmhm... oh well. I'll get to see you at work, soon enough..." Lucy chuckled to herself, following Kazuya. Again with the strange, unnatural walk, as if her body was being pushed forward...

Kazuya scoffed. Probably another whack-job demihuman. Time to get to the bottom of this.

---

The waiting room was nothing particularly special—it was mostly taken up by the secretary's desk that faced outwards, with posters lining the walls advertising services and recommendations for particular products. There was the subtle, yet pervasive smell of chemicals swirling in the air, and the dull din of a television looming over an assortment of sitting chairs.

Kazuya stole a glance at what was playing on the screen—some talking-head show about the current stock market or whatever—and turned to Naomi. She had her blonde hair neatly tied back into a ponytail that draped over her shoulder. She furrowed her eyebrows as she tilted her head, keeping a landline phone cradled on her shoulder as she typed away at her computer.

"Hey Naomi, you got a sec?" He gestured to Lucy. "I got a lady here who says-"

"In a call Kaz." Naomi gestured to the headpiece, not breaking eye contact with the monitor as she typed away.

"It'll be quick, I promise." Kazuya went on. "Just need to confirm-"

Naomi rolled her eyes, wresting her head from the earpiece. "It's Mr. Turner asking about servicing his personal fleet, big order. Big money. It can wait until I'm done." Naomi turned back to the computer, her stern expression blossoming into a can-do service-worker smile. "Right then, so about the Camero..."

Kazuya blinked. Mr. Turner? That was a big order—the man worked over at some embassy nearby, but...

"Mmmm, what a dreadful display of insubordination..." Lucy tsked, leaning into Kazuya's shoulder. "If I were you, I would redress her for such blatant disrespect, hm?~"

"N-no, she's got a big order to fulfill, so, uh..." Kazuya stuttered.

Well shit, he had to deal with this woman now. And the way she hovered around him, he had a hunch that she wouldn't go away quietly if he asked politely.

He sighed, his shoulders dropping. His eyes narrowed, glancing out the front window.

"Is that your car out front?" Kazuya asked.

"Yes. The jet black sporting vehicle." Lucy's lips curled into a grin. "I'm no good with cars, I'm afraid. I couldn't tell you what kind it is."

"...It looks brand new. Right off the lot." Kazuya squinted. It wouldn't look out of place in a car show lot. It must've cost more than his apartment's lease... multiplied twice, maybe even thrice over.

"Ohhhh, it's making some unpleasant noise, something or other." Lucy waved her hand nonchalantly. "It would really ease my weary nerves if you were to... examine it, right now."

"..."

Kazuya made a quiet, discontented groan as Lucy shifted a little closer. He had gotten into the habit of shifting away slightly every time she had gotten a little too close, but she would inevitably scootch a little closer each time. And the way she looked at him, he felt like a piece of meat being eyed by a hungry predator.

Perhaps stepping outside for a look wouldn't be such a bad idea. He sighed, stepping towards the door.

"Fine. I'll do a quick look around." He conceded, reaching for the door handle. "But if I don't see anything out of place, I want you out of here, okay? Are we clear? I still got a ton of work on my docket today."

"Crystal clear~" Lucy chuckled. "I would never wish to be a bother to you of all people..."

"...Okay. Good." Kazuya paused, not sure what she meant by that at all. But he let out, the door's bell jingling as he left.

Lucy leaned over to the window, studying Kazuya's posterior; she released a drawn out sigh, tilting her head.

"Hah... he was certainly eager to wriggle free." She muttered under her breath. "He didn't even ask me for any specifics about the problem... well, he'll warm up to me eventually."

Kaclick. Lucy was snapped out of her longing reverie by the sound of Naomi hanging up her phone. Lucy turned her head to see Naomi turning back to her monitor.

Naomi was terribly busy with her work, so Lucy's sinister smile went sorely unnoticed. Lucy slid over to the office desk.

"All done with your important business?" Lucy cocked her head to the side, her striking red eyes looking straight through Naomi; the secretary flashed her a look, before straightening up.

"Yeah, sorry about that, things have been picking up like crazy lately." Naomi ran a hand through her hair. "Anyway, uh, did you have a name you scheduled an appointment under?"

"Ohhhhh, you misunderstand." Lucy grinned. "I don't have an appointment. I only just arrived in this area, you see."

"Okay, well, we don't really do walk-ins, so once Kazuya is done looking, you're gonna need to make an appointment." Naomi typed a few things into her computer. "We have openings starting next month around-"

"Ah, but I'm here now." Lucy tilted her head to the other side. "It's terribly urgent that I have some time allotted to me today. I dropped everything to come here and see dear Kazuya."

"...Are you two like... a thing?" Naomi blinked.

"In a cosmological sense of the word... perhaps~" Lucy remained blithe about her involvement with Kazuya; this didn't seem to earn her any brownie points with Naomi, who merely regarded her with a quizzical look.

"Kaz never mentioned any lovers around the shop, so I dunno what your deal is." Naomi clicked her tongue. "Regardless, we have other people scheduled for servicing and maintenance, so we can't fit you in today. I can set you up with an appointment on-"

"Excuse me," Lucy interrupted Naomi, her serpentine smile faltering. "What, exactly, is your relationship with Kazuya?"

"U-um, what the...?" That question definitely got Naomi's attention, and not in a good way; the icy look this weird stranger was giving her, and the sudden, sour shift in her tone, sent chills down her spine. She puffed out her chest. "S, strictly professional. I shouldn't have to explain myself to you, and I certainly-"

"Then why do you try so hard to shield him from me??" Lucy asked, her voice unchanging as her words became accusatory. "It almost seems as though you have an attachment to him..."

"Wha? What're you talking about, crazy lady??" Naomi blustered. "Are you some creepy stalker chick? Are you tailing Kazuya?"

Naomi's hand reached reflexively for the phone. "I'm calling the police-"

However, Naomi's words were sharply cut off as Lucy's hand moved quickly, taking Naomi's wrist and holding it in place. Lucy's grip was so strong, Naomi could barely move a muscle. Did this freakish woman have super strength!?

"Oho... Kazuya once said I have an envious streak..." Lucy chuckled. "I simply can't help it. Whenever I see another woman approach my dear, sweet Kazuya, I get just a little territorial about it. He's mine, you realize... and I am his."

Naomi's entire body began to tremble with a terrible energy, an arousing tickling sensation that danced at her nerves. It travelled up her arm, into her core, and flowed to her extremities, coalescing in her... womanly areas, where she was most sensitive. Underneath her desk, strange thrashing sounds rang out—a response that certainly piqued Lucy's interest.

"Oh...?" Lucy peeked over the desk to get a better look at Naomi's body. From across the desk, Lucy could only see Naomi's upper body... but her lower body was a strange sight. Instead of supple, human legs, there was a bevy of... boneless tentacles, black stockings riding along their smooth, red limbs. They twisted and writhed underneath her, coiling around her chair, suckers clinging against the underside of the desk.

"Oh my, how quaint. A scylla." Lucy grinned. "Settling into human society nicely, I see."

"You... smug bitch..." Naomi groaned, her tentacles squirming as Lucy's grip tightened. "Wh-what're you doing to... to me...?"

"...Ohhhh. It had completely slipped my mind~" Lucy almost sounded remorseful... though it was feigned, as her fingers happily drummed along Naomi's wrist. "My skin has a special quirk: with one touch, I can agitate the sexual desires of another living being..."

Lucy licked her lips, her eyes lowering to Naomi's squirming tendrils. They slithered underneath her skirt, groping her all over, moving as if they were independent limbs with lewd thoughts of their own.

"Fufu... Oh, don't let me get in the way~" Lucy chuckled, releasing her grip on Naomi's wrist; the scylla's skin was flushed red, beads of sweat streaking along her bare arms and neck. She felt so hot, and her work attire was suffocating. She exhaled sharply, her breath a steamy fog as her trembling fingers struggled to undo her blouse...

"This quirk of mine used to be quite the troublesome thing, you know," Lucy recalled as Naomi struggled to undress her, tracing a finger along her leathery attire. "The effect was, at first, so pronounced that a slight brush against someone would drive them utterly mad with lust and desire, reducing them to a sopping mess of libido-fueled insanity. But I've received certain... treatments for that, so now the effect is only temporary."

"Nnn... haaah..." Naomi moaned, stripping the garment stockings from her writhing tentacles to reveal their white, slimy suckers; it was a laborious process, considering how they were eager to slip in and out of her trembling pussy, and how difficult it was to get a grip on them. They slithered around her half-naked body as they pleased, leaving sweaty, sticky residue as they explored her inside and out.

"Ohhh, I guess you don't care to hear that right now." Lucy smiled. "You seem to be in the middle of something. Don't let me stop you~"

Indeed, Lucy's words fell on deaf ears as Naomi gasped, her tentacles sucking against her bare skin. She had no idea what was coming over her: her mind had turned blank, her thoughts replaced with a searing-white blast of horny thoughts, desires to fill herself and to be filled, her two halves mingling with one another in a masturbatory embrace. She felt so lonely and isolated in this town, never seeing anyone like her, and she had no outlet for her sexual desires but herself.

She didn't care as she offered an exquisite view to Lucy, leaning back in her chair as two tentacles slithered into her sopping wet pussy, fighting for space in her womb as they thrust in and out of her, her slender tummy bulging slightly with its slimy occupants. She grasped at her breasts, her fingers sinking into her perky, D-cup breasts as her bra slipped free, wrested free by one of her stark red tentacles. She arched her back, presenting herself as two tentacles, one for each of her breasts, rose to coil and twist around her breasts, their tips playing with her nipples.

Lucy snuck a glance out the window, and it appeared that Kazuya was wrapping up his inspection. She pursed her lips, turning to Naomi as her entire body quivered and gyrated with need. Her feely tentacles groped her all over, and her bare skin, covered in sucker-shaped hickies, was a sight to behold.

"Oh, Miss Naomi?" Lucy tried to call to her, but her words fell on deaf ears; Naomi could barely gurgle a response as she sucked thirstily at one of the tips of her own tentacles. Lucy frowned to herself—knowing Kazuya, he wouldn't be happy to see a subordinate masturbating in his workplace. And as venomously jealous as she was about Kazuya's other flings, she didn't want the woman to be out of a job. She did feel some responsibility for her situation...

...And Lucy could play this to her advantage.

SLAM! Lucy pounded the desk to get Naomi's attention, the leather-clad woman's red eyes lighting up with a glare.

"Kazuya is coming." She growled lowly. "Pick up your clothes and flee from this place."

Naomi stared as her glassy eyes seemed to look through Lucy; her fingers continued to slowly massage her titties, and it seemed that they wouldn't stop anytime soon... Lucy clicked her tongue.

"NOW!!!" Her jet-black leather garments unfurled like wings, looming over her shoulders into tendrils that now resembled serpents; a pink, fleshy webbing revealed itself as she exposed her true form, pink and black tendrils lashing about from her sides. Her calm, chilling demeanour gave way to a feral hiss as she flashed sharp canines and fangs. She seemed to rear up, the hem of her "dress" pulling up to reveal a black serpent's tail, as she loomed over the secretary.

The terror of Lucy's eldritch form was incredibly distressing, and snapped Naomi out of her sexual reverie long enough for a moment of clarity to return to her. She scooped up her garments from all around her and, on unsteady tentacles, hobbled for the back exit, through the garage. As the sound of popping suckers grew quieter, Lucy smiled coolly, her leathery tendrils wrapping back around her F-cup chest—her demonic wings, her serpentine tendrils, and her snake-like tail slipped underneath the hem of her leathery dress... an extension of her.

"Right then, let me make a few alterations here..." Lucy slid over to the computer and pecked at the keyboard. "My apologies, Mr. Wilson, but I believe true love is a more pressing priority~"

She quickly made an alteration, humming to herself along the way. And now, there was proof that she had an appointment all along. It wasn't so hard being a secretary after all—maybe Lucy could try her hand at such a job herself.

She slipped away, turning to the door to welcome Kazuya back—she shuddered with anticipation, harkening back to fond memories of being a caring, doting housewife in another time, another place...

She overheard a bell jingling, and she straightened up reflexively, her body swivelling in Kazuya's direction. Her beloved Kazuya...

"Ohhh, Kazuya..." She swooned. "It's been so long..."

"I was gone for, like, fifteen minutes. Twenty tops." Kazuya's eyebrows furrowed. His eyes turned to the empty desk where Naomi once sat. "Where's Naomi?"

"Whom?" Lucy cocked her head to the side, though her knowing smile betrayed her weak attempt at naivety.

"Naomi. The secretary." Kazuya huffed. "You were here with her, the whole time. Where'd she go?"

"Hm..." She pondered, turning around the room as if she were distracted by a pretty little butterfly. "Would you believe me if I said 'spontaneous combustion'?"

Lucy did a cheeky little wink in Kazuya's direction. Kazuya blinked.

"...no. No I would not." His mouth flattened, folding his arms.

"Oh well, it was worth a shot. Honestly, with that dreadfully suspicious look you're giving me, I couldn't think of anything better, fufufu~" She covered her mouth as she chuckled. "And besides that... you wouldn't believe me if I told you the truth."

"Try me." Kazuya lowered his arms. "What'd you do?"

"You are accusing me! Oh Kaz... I hardly laid a finger on her." She raised her palms, wiggling her fingers. "She barely brushed up against me, and then all of a sudden she was flopping all over the floor like a fish, touching and fondling and sucking herself off... really not the more professional etiquette."

"...seriously?" Kazuya's jaw dropped. He glanced at the conspicuous... damp spots on the floor, and along Naomi's desk.

"Don't you sense it? The haze of lust in the air, the stench of hormones, the salty sweetness of womanly ejaculate..." Lucy licked her lips. "Very enticing. But hardly what I come to a mechanic for. I don't think I'll be leaving her a positive review..."

Kazuya was at a loss for words. Lucy's demeanor was so alien, she always wore this insidious smile. He couldn't shake the feeling that she was somehow responsible for Naomi's departure.

"...I didn't want to turn away a tentacle girl for her condition... probably would've been a human rights violation but... mrgh." Kazuya scrunched his nose, he could smell the sex in this room. Besides that, a stocking or two remained behind, recognizably belonging to Naomi.

And yet Lucy stood there, blemishless.

"She was so wrapped up in her own shame that she fled through the back..." Lucy shook her head. "Truly lamentable. It makes things so much more difficult for you, hm...?"

"Okay, stop talking. Please." Kazuya held up a hand. "I gave your car a lookover, nothing was out of place. You don't need my help, so you can just go-"

"Mm? But I have an appointment." Lucy smiled. "You can see for yourself."

"And I gave it a look! But there's nothing wrong with it! I'd charge you fifty bucks just for the hassle, but honestly I'll look the other way if you just... go." Kazuya gestured to the door.

Lucy stared at him silently, her smile faltering for a bit. Kazuya wondered for a second if he had gotten through to her thick skull... until her wicked grin returned, wider than before.

"So if something... devastating happened to my vehicle... you would have your hands tied~" She chuckled. "And then you would need to perform a big repair... and I'd have nowhere else to go but be at your side..."

"...U-uh, I could always mark it as a total loss y'know-"

Kazuya tried to get a word in, but he choked on his own words as Lucy's eyes flashed a ghastly, terrible shade of red. The temperature in the office plummeted to a deathly chill, and Kazua felt a deadly premonition come on, as if a sixth sense was warning him something terrible was going to happen. He felt nauseous as the world warped around him, as if the seams of reality were undulating, tearing into eldritch tendrils.

Lucy stood frozen in place, eyes flashing, her body shaking as an unseen force shifted all around her... yet she remained standing. Her lips spread into a devious, manic smile.

Kazuya buckled to his knees. Something was tearing, but he didn't know what! His eyes drifted to the window, the blue sky turning a foul crimson, the light contrasting in a blinding manner. His irises dilated, body shaking. He didn't take drugs, but he swore this must've been what the worst acid trip in the world felt like!

And down the road, he saw it. Light seemed to bend in odd ways, as if made to bend beyond its breaking point. Bright, blinding light coalesced at a single point, like a sun the size of a pinpoint...

And then it opened. In thin air, something opened. A hole in empty space... he had no idea what he was looking at...

"W-what the hell is- OH SHIT!"

He didn't have long to think until a stream of cars came throttling through the opening, speeding well above the speed limit. The terrified screams of nearby pedestrians were drowned out by the screeching of tires and, soon thereafter, the crunching of metal and mortar as car after car swerved off the road, into storefronts, hydrants, patios...

CRASH!!!

...and Lucy's car. The icy woman observed the mad chaos play out, looking entirely unperturbed. She crinkled her nose as the stench of burning rubber and gasoline filled the air.

"...My my... what a mess this has made..." She tutted. Kazuya shot her a look of utter incredulity.

"I... I gotta help!!" Kazuya bolted out the door to assist the car that just barrelled into Lucy's car. He tried to look through the wind shield, but he couldn't make out anything as there was a layer of plastered green slime all over the interior of the car.

He paused, his mouth trying to form words, but he was flummoxed. He steeled his nerved and went to the driver side, using all his strength to pull the door open and rescue whoever was at the wheel...

...A pool of green slime dribbled down to the sidewalk. It wobbled, lurching formlessly away from the totaled cars, and plopped at a spot of relative safety. Kazuya watched the display with confusion.

"What are y... a-are you okay? Can you talk!?" Kazuya questioned, though it came off more as barking than anything.

"...I-I'm okay..." The slime burbled. It shifted, building up mass, before forming into the shape of a woman... albeit a nude one. She covered her chest and lifted her legs as she sat on the ground, trying to protect her modesty. "I... it all happened so fast, I..."

"The fire department'll be here any second... what the hell happened??" Kazuya asked. "Why were you going so fast in the middle of town??"

"I wasn't!" The slime woman pleaded. "I was driving on the highway and, and this hole just showed up! And I was here, a-and I didn't have time to react because everyone else was crashing around me, and I p-panicked...!"

"...A hole...?" Kazuya blinked. "What do you mean, a-"

"What she means is that a hole in space-time materialized."

Lucy approached from behind all of a sudden, startling the both of them. The slime woman glanced at Lucy, perturbed by her cold smile.

"...A what?" The slime woman blinked. "I-I don't understand..."

"A truly unfortunate circumstance. And look at the condition it left my poor car in..." Lucy tilted her head to look at her wreck of a vehicle. "Now Kazuya will have to repair it~"

Kazuya furrowed his eyebrows as he studied Lucy. She wasn't trying to hide it at all; she definitely had something to do with this. This on top of Naomi.

The slime woman was in terrible distress, clutching her head in her palms, squishing it under her own grip. "O-oh god, my insurance premiums... they're going to skyrocket now!"

"Lady, don't worry, something's up with this..." Kazuya reassured her. "Let's just get insurance exchanged, and maybe they chalk it up to a natural disaster. What's your name?"

"My name? It's- ah!"

Lucy stepped forward, forcefully shoving the slime woman to the ground, who collapsed with a wet plop. She moaned as she did. Kazuya turned to Lucy.

"Wh-what'd you do that for!?" Kazuya blurted.

"I didn't like the way you were looking at her. Soon it leads to emotional connections. Breaking down one's defences. And then you fall in love." Lucy's eyes narrowed. "I don't like that. You're my only special someone~"

"What are you talking about!?" Kazuya shouted. "This is an EMERGENCY situation, people are hurt, and she's... she's..."

Kazuya trailed off as the woman's green skin shimmered, a patch of harsh red spreading across her form. She was wiggling all over, her breasts and ass swelling as she huffed, her arms turning into tendrils as she fingered her slimy labia as she melted, gyrating on the hot sidewalk... until she was nothing more than a squirming pile of ooze, moaning with pleasure as her body rocked.

"Oh dear, she went and lost her mind." Lucy pursed her lips. "I suppose you'll have to find another woman to bring home with you."

Lucy turned to Kazuya, smiling wickedly. She approached, closing the distance between him and her.

"Take me home, Kazuya..." Lucy insisted. "I know you live alone. I can smell the cheap ramen on you... it would make me so happy if you... invited me to come along~"

Lucy's smile shifted again, lightening up as she tilted her head.

"Just how it used to be... fufufu~" She giggled

Kazuya was at a total loss for words. This woman seemed to know him intimately, but he had never seen her before in his life. One thing was obvious: between Naomi, this slime woman, and the chaotic accident unfolding behind him, she was dangerous...

...And somehow, she was already wrapping him up in her sadistic little world, pretending as though there weren't fires, panic, and injured people all around them. And out of the corner of his eye, he could see the slime woman... well, folding over herself and penetrating herself over and over. She was gone.

Kazuya gulped. He took a deep breath...

...And sprinted off in a mad dash to get the fuck out of there. Lucy watched him book it, smiling to herself.

"Mmhmhm... this is so like you, Kazuya. You always want to make it a challenge." Lucy shifted forward as if she were floating, her striking red eyes lowering to the convulsing red ooze. Her eyebrow perked up as a curious idea occurred to her...
