Intermission 2 Side 1 Commands (March 28th - April 8th) + May Update

Justin Timberlake once said that "it's gonna be May" and now it is.

Same deal as the last post, this post is available to all patrons because I don't think what I'm giving you here is worth the $3.22 price point and I want to be open about how things are going behind the scenes.

Unless a shake-up happens, we only have three updates left in I2S1 during the time that I'm writing this post! We've gone back to our usual weekly schedule as these updates will be a little more artistically-intensive as opposed to the usual intermission style.

I want to say thank you for helping send in commands if you did! You've helped dictate a portion of how this comic goes, which is as thematically relevant as it was hard and a little exhausting to pull off. Truthfully, I'm glad we're off of such a fast-paced schedule. It was set in place to further the very "Homestuck" vibe that this Intermission was made to manifest, but there's a reason this model of work ethic isn't viable or healthy long-term. Still, it was a very fun experiment. So fun that I never want to do it again.

The Dead Shufflers album is close to done! We have all of the albums art created and ready to go, we're just waiting on five tracks to be finished up. It will be 16 songs long, including an intermission and a bonus track. We still plan to release it once I2S1 finishes up.

Volume 9 of SBB is also still in active development and decently far along. The other route has since swapped writers and been completed in full, with asset work in full swing. I'd like to announce the characters soon and release by the end of this month if we can help it, but you all know how bad I am at steady release windows.

I'd also like to apologize for the lack of a 'The Static' last month, as I know that's what most $12+ patrons are coming to get. Admittedly, the virus on top of work and various other personal issues have been pretty rough on all of us and it makes it hard to have the podcast be a top priority. I do intend to get out an episode this month however, and maybe include a new guest.

Lastly, the commands doc for I2S1 has been updated with the last of what remained from the updates that utilized the format. I have once again tried to scrub any bad stuff, keysmashes, weird questions and intense redundancies to the best of my ability here but some stuff might have slipped.

That's really all for this month! Not a whole lot of news or posts to give, but this should change once Vol. 9 releases and we scoot our way into I2S2. I hope you're looking forward to it, and staying safe.
